Hi Dixon Chen, It does not happen all LG TV. We don't have this kind of issue with our LG TV. But our engineer has a LG TV(Model Name : 55UH7670). And she can reproduce it easily. |

Hi SY Yoon, We think it is LG TV sent a request for reauthentication. In general, authentication will only be done when HDMI cable is plugged. We also counldn't reproduce this issue. Could you help to use r50 and Kaon box to reproduce it ? Thanks a lot. HI Dixon we can't reproduce it here. since we don't have same TV. I heard HDMI owner in AML will check a log. so you also check a status in next week. |

Hi Jason, We release v51a/v51b for this issue on 9/30 with de-interlace clock changes. According to your report, there is no black screen and HDCP re-authentication in both releases. We also check log, no additional error is found. But we still need you help to check if there is any side effect, especially for PIP playback. Please help to test Live video playback with v51b release. Thanks ! |

hi kerwin you have to explain each version . according to your report, each version applied a diffrent VPU(Vide Processing Unit) Parameter. let me know a reason why do you select with V51b. this patch is very caution. Please Let me know Test case which is related to this patch more detail. after apply this patch, Does we need to HDMI compatible test. I afraid to apply this patch via your simple test and comment. |

Hi Jason, v51a and v51b use different clock range setting for test. The current clock range is 334 ~ 667. v51a use a fixed clock: 334 v51b use range 334 ~ 500. This change is for test and issue clarification. We still need to check with Amlogic RD for details after China National vacation. |

hi kerwin. as we talked in webchat, it is ok in v51b. We tested with v52a, an image that omit the patch related to hdcp applied to v44. it happen same issue in v52a. so I think the patch related hdcp applied to v44 isn't related to a black screen issue in V44. According to new patch, this issue is related to de-interrace form VPU value. please give your comment. |

Hi Jason, Since v51b changes clock range of de-interlace, we need to check if there is any side effect on PIP playback. We don't have environment for SKB Live channels. Could ALT help to test Live video playback with v51b release ? At the meantime, we will discuss with Amlogic if there is other solution for this issue. Thanks ! |

hi kerwin. I know that it is not a patch of HDCP applied to 44 but a patch for changing the range of de-interlace. I heard it is related to VPU clock change. You commented de-interlace. Is this same comment v51b use range 334 ~ 500. Although you ask it to us to do a test for guarantee You have asked us to verify images as below, but this is a very important patch and we don't have enough environments so is a limit to guarantee. if you may be happen a potential problem via this patch, you need to make a plan to test and technical explains in AML or Foxconn. If you give us a guarantee to a test condition regardless TV, we also can have tested with us together. Thanks. |

Hi Jason, If there is no issue found on AOSP v11 image, I think we can apply this patch to ATV project. We also get the same conclusion from Amlogic Jingyu. Thanks ! |

hi kerwin Thanks for your comment. my comment is it is ok in LG TV. We don't test in an aspect for side effect from patch. please let me know a test scenario about side effect. if don't have a problem in the scenario, we will apply in ATV project and will close this mantis. Thanks |

Hi Jason, Please refer to previous replies on 10/1, 10/7. We can use PIP playback (multiview) to check if there is any side effect. De-interlace will be used under such kind of scenario. |
